These terms form an agreement between you and the independent team that operates ChatGPTImageEditor.com at chatgptimageeditor.com ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

Who we are

ChatGPTImageEditor.com is an independent third-party website. It is not operated by, affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenAI. "ChatGPT", "GPT Image" and "OpenAI" are trademarks of OpenAI; we use these names only to describe the models our tools run on. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

What the site does

You type what you want changed or created and, on tools that accept them, upload one or more images to work from; an AI image model from the GPT Image family then produces the result. Machine-made images can miss what you meant and can contain errors such as misspelled text, warped faces or extra fingers. Check each result before you use it.

Free use

Each visitor can make one image for free without an account. The allowance is per person, not per browser: we count it per network and per device, and using extra devices, browsers, VPNs or scripts to get more is not permitted. We may change or withdraw the free allowance at any time.

What you type and upload

• Upload only images you own or have permission to use, and photos of people only with their consent.
• No images of anyone under 18.
• No nudity, sexual content, violence, hate, or anything illegal where you or we are located, in images or in prompts.

You keep all rights to what you upload. You let us store it, process it and pass it to our AI providers solely to create the images you request, until it is deleted as explained in the Privacy Policy.

The images you make

As far as we are concerned, your results are yours to use for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial; we claim no ownership. Bear in mind that some countries don't grant copyright to purely AI-generated images, and that someone else may get a similar result from a similar prompt.

Don't use the images to impersonate anyone, to create fake documents, to pass them off as official OpenAI material, or to mislead or harass people.

What you must not do

• Break the law or infringe anyone's rights through the site.
• Work around the free allowance or rate limits.
• Scrape or overload the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, or try to access data that isn't yours.
• Resell the service or build a product on top of it without our written consent.

Our content

The site's design, text, logo and example images belong to us. Please don't copy them without permission.

Changes, suspension and termination

We may change, pause or discontinue any part of the site. If you breach these terms, we may block your access without warning.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or that any result will fit your purpose.

Limits of our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, data or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater. Nothing here takes away rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

When we update these terms, the date at the top of this page changes. Using the site after that means you accept the updated version.
